Just bought this at Walmart for $268.00 plus tax. I think its a decent sound system. Last march I bought an Onkyo S7409 home theater system from Amazon. It had a recall from Onkyo because the one of the speaker terminals was broken. It also would drop audio for a couple of seconds on Dolby Tru HD tracks.
I returned that Onkyo system because I didn't want to take any chances with a crap system, even though it sounded amazing. This Pioneer system doesn't sound too bad. I can definetly tell the difference between my 8 year old Sony HTIB that can only decode DTS and Dolby Pro II. However Im using this Pioneer for a small bedroom. Would not recommend it for a living room. Not powerful enough. Curious what other people thought of it if they had it. http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-HTP-07...ioneer+htp-071 |
