Help: Trying to connect soundbar without optical output :(
I just received a Samsung soundbar (HW-F550) for Christmas. I was stunned to discover that my 40" Samsung HDTV does not have an optical output. Is there another way to get audio from my BD, through the TV, and to the soundbar?
My understanding is that the best thing is to connect the BD player to the TV via an HDMI cable, and then send the audio out from the TV to the soundbar via an optical cable. But my TV does not have an optical output.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached: My TV inputs.
