Not really all that strange. Just look at the portable MP3 player market. Sony has never really made a splash there either, producing a bunch of crappy devices. Which to me is surprising from such an innovative brand. They just see their weakness and try to capitalize on the popularity of Media Player 11. I don't see anything wrong with that.
