If you change your mind and don't want to wait until you are back in Japan, you can always import one. It shows up as $1116 with shipping from for the DZ-BD7H. I'm really tempted by that price, but not sure what the story is with getting discs to burn on or other specs. If I had seen this earlier I probably would have tried to get one for some recording I'm supposed to do tomorrow of my niece playing her violin for a public group.
