![]() Yeah what's up with the claims here that he's reachable on social media? I would love to write to him to see what's up and see if another company can release it since Synapse dropped the plans as well as their 4K scan (and don't be telling me that pic from 2015 was a fun day in the studio fooling around and testing things out!). |

Just joined a Facebook page devoted to Lemora's hopeful (eventual?) release on Blu-ray:

I've requested it several time to them via Facebook as they had something to do with the 4K scan. Hopefully they'll pick it up if Synapse is truly dropping it.

I've done the same, and requested it from Arrow, Shout Factory, 88 Films, 101 Films, Blue Underground, Severin, etc.

I've asked VS via Facebook since they had a hand in the 4K restoration of LEMORA, but they haven't responded. Would absolutely love for them to it if Synapse really is no longer interested.

Yes but this is a case of teasing the 4K restoration to the public six years ago, prompting the title of this thread, and then recently saying "no plans" when asked about LEMORA.

"No plans" means yes to them, though. That's the BS they've used when asked about standard releases of pricey steelbook editions only to end up releasing them. They aren't to be taken at their word.

Afraid this is all wishful thinking on your guys' part. Don said on Instagram a ways back that they never said they were doing it, only that they expressed an interest.
The way he was talking it didnt sound like it was coming from them. |

Did you see the beginning of this thread? And doesn't everyone here always say that Synapse/Don May often say the opposites of their intentions?

Don says now "he only expressed an interest" yet a few years ago when asked about it on Facebook they said it was "still in production". Which is it?

I have heard Synapse does not always say what they mean, and since they still own Lemora, this would be a no brainer on Blu-ray. Hopefully it's just taking a long time just like with everything else and they don't want to say anything.
