I think that Hopkins touchdown is gonna do me in. Oh well, 2nd place is good too. If it ends that way just get my email and the third place winners email and pm them with your email to the appropriate amount of other league members so they can send the prize money.

I would still rather everyone email me whatever $ is coming because honestly, I feel there is a stiff or two coming. If whomever pays me, I can first pay the folks who get the lesser winnings and then take mine.

Also, just looked....my workplace pal finished in 3rd so he just breaks even since none of us paid yet. In that regard, you'll be due $40, since it'd have been $60 if we'd all paid at the beginning. Follow me? I'm due $100 instead of $120.

We can make a list or PM a moderator of people who don't pay and they can be banned from future leagues or contests through this site. It is a shame that people aren't willing to honor their commitments.

I'm not a member of this league, but I'm just chiming in. I'm in seven leagues and to be in the leagues, you have to pay before the draft in all of them. Usually the commish holds on to the money. Maybe you should do that next year?

We tried that but the league started late and we tried to pay directly through yahoo and almost everyone did. But I am located in Florida and it wouldn't let me because it is considered illegal to bet on fantasy sports in Florida. It shouldn't be a big deal since the people should just honor their comitment and pay the 20 dollars and move on.

Honestly, the league was a disaster from the beginning. I set it up like I normally would and this year, nothing took. I didn't even draft me team and somehow I won. I missed the whole draft! I had payments set up to be ahead of the draft...didn't happen. But also, because of the whole not everyone can pay Yahoo leagues directly deal, the league defaulted to a "free" league despite everyone in principal agreeing to still pay...obviously, people who lost now feel they're not obligated.

I don't think any of them other than the upstanding members who paid me are from this forum. I'll be dropping a few "friends" off my social media though...tossing them some massive shade. lol

I'm just happy I could get enough people to keep their word so that I didn't have to pay 2nd place on my own. I'm pretty much done running leagues at this point. MUCH easier jumping into other's or Yahoo's.

This is why I used leaguesafe for our Yahoo League. Also next time as an FYI if someone does not pay Id recommend locking their team until they do.

We usually just send paypal to the League Manager and they hold on it.
