Great news! I was hoping Disney would upgrade these eventually.

This is great, I was waiting for both of these! I like these older movies (I haven't seen these two yet) and really wish Disney would put out more collections of their older items ie/Donald Duck, Mickey etc. On blu-ray I mean.

Now I am hoping for The Jungle Book (animated) - should have held on to that special non-Signature edi tion. Ugh.

This is FANTASTIC news! At last for the first time in two years new Walt-era releases from the Disney Movie Club! I assume that Melody Time will use the exact same transfer that is on Disney + which is completely uncut. Like many of you I’m a bit worried about if Make Mine Music will be censored, but I think that it will probably be the original 1946 presentation as I’m guessing that Disney is probably well aware that most people who will be buying this will be collectors like us and not parents with young kids. Hopefully they’ll just have a Content Advisory message on the back of the case like they did for the recent The Best of Mickey Blu-ray.

Additionally since some of the recent Disney Movie Club Exclusive Blu-rays like The Black Cauldron and from what it looks like The Watcher in the Woods have Bonus Features, I really hope that the shorts that were included as Bonus Features on both films 2000 Walt Disney Gold Classic Collection DVDs will be included here, hopefully in HD as well like Trick or Treat was on The Black Cauldron Blu-ray. The shorts being The Band Concert, Music Land, Farmyard Symphony, Casey Bats Again, Donald Applecore, and Lambert the Sheepish Lion. The Band Concert of course was released in HD on the Celebrating Mickey Blu-ray, Donald Applecore was restored in HD in 2008 for Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald Volume Four, and Lambert the Sheepish Lion is in HD on Disney +. Assuming that Disney has HD transfers of Music Land, Farmyard Symphony, and Casey Bats Again, it would be so wonderful if they included them on these releases!

When you guys placed your phone pre-orders, did you wait for the representative to mention the films or did you bring them up yourselves? I just want to be sure, so if I pre-order by phone, they'll know what I'm talking about.

The Beauty and the Beast 2010 Diamond Edition had an HD version of Music Land, though I forget if it came from a new restoration, or if Disney upscaled a DVD-era master.

You mean it's gonna be a Signature Collection edition?

OT sorry folks:

Oh of course I don't know - I was just thinking of the blu-rays the DMC put out a few years ago - one for 101 Dalmatians and one for The Jungle Book (non-Signature

I would take TJB as Signature or not at this point!

Well, about "101 Dalmatians", first it got a Movie Club Limited release in Fall 2018, then it got a Signature release in Fall 2019. As for "The Jungle Book", it got a Movie Club Limited release in Spring 2019, and they were both limited until late-September 2019, remember?

Also, that "Jungle Book" movie is currently unavailable from Disney Movie Club just so you know.

The castbmemeber first mentioned it to me. I'm sure if you directly ask a cast member about ordering them they will add thek for you just be sure you mention you want the Blu-Ray edition of the each movie so they don't add the DVD edition by mistake.

So will this include the lost music land movie cut that mixed cartoons from the two films into one movie disney forgot about?

Wow! That it, isn’t it? The Disney Animated Classics canon is complete on Blu-ray!

Nope still missing disneys follow up to many adventures of winnie the pooh. It had live action scenes with mickey mouse club and animated stars hosting a clip show like the looney tunes films. It was with a double bill with the davey crockett movie.

Pooh became a canon film. This was forgot by disney! Both were done the same.

Hey disney how about a dvd or blu-ray release of this film? They did release it on vhs in some parts of the world.

Sorry if the poster is to big.

Trailer.

I brought them up myself, she confirmed it, and I placed a pre-order for them right there.

I was on the phone with them yesterday morning to try and correct a feature title mistake, and as she was about to process my card, she just slyly mentioned these two new releases. As several of you said, I was also flabbergasted and went “really?? on blu ray??” and immediately added them to my order haha

I called, and before I could mention the already available items I wanted, the rep mentioned the two releases right off the bat! Added them to my order right away.

Thanks for refreshing my memory! Yes, I may end up going to ebay or something to get a blu-ray copy of The Jungle Book.

Thankfully I have the Signature blu-ray of 101 Dalmatians.

I have “101 Dalmatians” Signature Edition, too. As for “The Jungle Book”, I have the 2019 edition.

Yes they have. Saludos Amigos and Three Caballeros was on one disc.

Also the Aladdin Sequels were on one disc, but that isn't quite part of the same DMC line.

Aladdin DTV is a different line so agreed is not the same. Cind 2/3, TLK 2/3 even less so given they had prior BD releases.

I think the SA/TTC was teh "Otherwise" part of the quoted Brayden96 post. SA was only 40 minutes so would have been a stretch to put it out separate and it's always been part of the pair on Home Video

Davy Crockett 2 Film on a single disc at 174 minutes is the exception , but also as mentioned before these 2 have normally been paired. I think it;s the only DMC Exclusive over 151 minutes (Scarecrow of Romney Marsh) and so far there are no Dual Disc in the True Exclusive Line

Goofy/Extremely Goofy probably should have paired, but weren't and the MMM/MT pair are only a little shorter than those two.

Love Bug 3/4 could easily have been paired -- right at 3 hrs

Some others that could have though I'm glad they didn't (still assuming single disc releases)
Parent Trap -- over 4 hrs so not likely
Freaky Friday - a little over 3
Honey I -- -- a little over 3 hrs
Mighty Ducks -- abut 3.5 hrs for any pair
The 2 Dexter Riley's -- right at 3 hrs

The initial DVD release of Saludos Amigos was by itself in 2000. Since 2008, it has been paired either with The Three Caballeros or Walt and El Grupo.

Can you use these titles or the black cauldron when signing up? I left the club last year, and don’t want any others
