So would I :P im only testing the water with it. More intrigued than anything to see if it would sell. I don't need the money and if it doesn't sell then I'm going to happily keep it. I was just considering taking all of the slips off of my blus and I rather sell it than open it. Otherwise I'll buy another copy.

I'll post a pic if someone thinks I'm trying to pull your leg. And no I won't buy it and send it to you, if I was willing to do that then I may as well ebay it lol
Yer it does. Depending on the condition. One went the other day for over £50. But then you had the influx of loads of people listing them and they didn't go for anywhere near as much. Same thing happened with man on fire a while back.

Its funny how much ebay prices can fluctuate day by day. A few weeks back I lost out on getting Weeds season 1, then the next day won the sellers other copy for less than half the price

I thought it was worth posting about the BenB slip, as someone who was looking for it in the area could benefit or even try their luck with it on ebay. It was in what I'd describe as "very good condition", just a little shelf wear along the back bottom edge of the slip.
If I liked the film I would have got it for my collection, but I really didn't like it...

Saw a few slips that I haven't seen in a long time on my travels this week:
  • Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
  • Charlie's Angels
  • The Damned United

The last two were in HMV and looked like they'd been resealed and then left in a cupboard for a couple of years. In typical HMV style, they were hilariously priced at £18 for Charlie's and £25 for Damned United!!
Got The Damned Utd hmv exclusive sleeve and artcards in the mail today £16.99.

Only thing was, no slip and no artcards and oh wait..... not sealed

Yup, it's lenticular.

They have been recently. Some crazy circa £50 auctions, but it's hard to tell whether they're fake bidders (at least one I saw return to eBay after the action ended - probably due to non-payment).

If it's in good nick, you'd probably double your money after fees.

Whaaaaat! Did you buy it from hmv.com?

Speaking of which, in this week's edition of "HMV Presents: Oooh, I haven't seen that slip in a long time... HOW MUCH?!"
  • The X-Files: I Want To Believe - Director's Cut w/ slip: £28!!

I want to believe this is a joke.

The Damned United was indeed from hmv.com which makes it even more bizarre

I see Benjamin Button sold for over £60 the other day, and funnily enough the seller used my picture which I took several months ago.

Hmmm....

Well it was a nice picture!

Although showing a photographed picture instead of a stock one would indicate that the copy in the picture is the one the buyer would receive. Which is a bit cheeky.
