I've recently discovered these slipcovers for the Wizarding World available in France I'm just wondering if they have made their way to our side of the pond? I rarely seem to come across Harry Potter Blu rays in my local HMV and supermarkets.

Default Ghostbusters Afterlife slip

Hi,

I pre-ordered the UK 4K Ghostbusters Afterlife from Amazon, but it arrived without a slip. Anyone got it with a slip and if so, from where? Anyone willing to sell their slip? Thanks.

Has anyone got a spare slip box for the UK Limited Edition Blu of The Changeling (1980).

I doubt anyone does but it's worth asking, as I was horrified yesterday when I pulled my copy from the shelf to find an unexpected slimy house guest had been nibbling at it. These matt, non-glossy cases and books seem to attract them for some reason. They ate the spine of my Dawn of the Dead UK reprint as well with the same printing.

I got mine with a slip from Zavvi. Don’t know if it’s luck or not though.

What's the slimy O-Ring monster? Might be worth buying protective sleeves for your slips and other BDs.

I think it’s a slug judging by the slime trail I found. I’m going to have to protect them, loathe as I am to use extra plastic, though it’s just the ones that don’t have a glossy or similar coating. I’ve moved the whole bookcase from that corner as well. They must be able to get it through the floor there.

Sickening though, I’m tempted to replace them but they’re not cheap. I’m just hoping someone who doesn’t keep packaging magically comes along… or just willing to sell me the outer boxes for a reasonable price because the inside contents are fine.

If you don't mind me asking, where are they stored that slugs can get to them?

Downstairs lounge in a bookcase. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I've got steelbook size, but does anyone know which to go for to protect the thicker ones like Changeling, Beyond the Door, City of the Living Dead Limited Editions, etc? Cheers. I like the ones that slip over and also offer spine protection, not the plastic bags.

On a more positive note, my slipcovers for Woman in Black and City of the Living Dead which use similar uncoated matt printing seem to have survived. Woman in Black will fit in an ordinary steelbook protector, so that one's safe now at least.

I'll have a look around to see if someone sells small quantities!

Not sure if they're suitable as they're not all round protection.

Those look exactly like what I need. The open spine can be reversed so it points towards the back of the shelf which isn't an issue.

Argh, they don't fit. A millimetre or 2 out in height for the hard boxes.

Thanks for trying to help though, so my gratitude for that stands.

I guess I'll just have to order and make do with the bags which I have found readily available for "Arrow" LEs. It's not as classy but better than them being eaten.

I have won reasonable priced replacements for the eaten ones on eBay and CEX can have the eaten ones since they don't care. I know it's silly as it's just packaging, but it was driving my OCD crazy knowing they were sat on my shelf in such a state.

Those are way too big. Those Who sets are monsters.

I’ve bought a pack of the wraps now anyway.

They might be more suitable, but sure of the size of your sets. Maybe the Who slips can fit two cases in them?

Spent the last couple of months hunting down slipcovers for the 15 or so movies I have in my collection that I didn’t own already. It wasn’t easy, but through Cex, eBay and even FB Marketplace, I’m 99% there. Even made profit by reselling a couple.

On the chance anyone here can assist, here’s the last 3 I’m missing.

Skyscraper 3D UK (currently I have a 4K slip over it, but I’d prefer it to be uniform)
Jumper 3D UK (this appears to be a grail!)
Grey’s Anatomy S5 Fr (there’s a Mexico edition on eBay, but can’t justify at the price)

Any help is massively appreciated!
