Me too. My next hope was for new 4K scans, but none of their paramount releases have been have they?
Oh well. I know I’ll end up grabbing it, at least I’m sure they will all be BD-50s for each film and the packaging I’m sure will be stellar.

Escape From L.A. has a new 4K scan, and Event Horizon is also getting one.

Edit: Forgot about My Bloody Valentine.

Agreed, but it's a little much if it's just the movies and some more interviews. We've gotten two dozen hours of interviews in the past 15 years. There's not much they can do for me at this price other than work prints, which I doubt we'll be getting.

16 Discs. Presuming 12 of them will be devoted to each film (and a bonus disc if it’s anything like the Halloween set) that leaves us with 3 to speculate.

Part 3 in 3D?
Unrated Cut of JGTH?
Anything else?

It would cost you much more to feed the entire cast than the cost of the set. Also don’t forget to offer the actor who played Vic in Part 5 a chocolate bar.

Yeah, this is underwhelming as hell and pretty much only has the great packaging going for it. So we're not getting 4K scans of parts 5-12? WTF is the point of buying these again if I already own the previous blu ray set? No deleted footage or workprints from the other films that haven't had the deleted scenes put on any previous release? $160 for this feels like a rip off to me if you already own the other releases. The Deluxe Editions were pretty much the collector's editions of these films so this feels like they're scraping the bottom of the barrel with only a few new commentaries, few new interviews and some tv spots..... whoopie doo.

These tins are so fragile that even with ten pounds of bubble wrap, any slight pressure on the shipping box will likely smoosh the tin in.
When I sold mine a few years back, I put some bubble wrap inside the tin (to hold everything in place), wrapped it inside a plastic bag, then wrapped that tightly with bubble wrap (the tiny kind), putting some extra wrapping on the corners. Then I put bubble wrap inside the box I was mailing it in. Seller said it arrived perfectly fine.
