With the free code, I would have rented the title again and returned the scratched blu to the kiosk.

Yeah, at least I got something, and thankfully, I did get to use all the free credits. They even lasted past the expiration date of 30 days that they supposedly had.

I just thought I'd mention this because some people might not be happy with rental credits and might want a refund, another copy, or a code that would cover the cost of another used title.

I thought about that, but then thought about how supposedly the barcode on a purchased disc is deactivated in the Redbox system, so I didn't know if it would work. With my luck, it might have kept my disc. Hahaha.

Yeah, the system would identify the barcode, DB5.

you've been missing out then because the picture and sound quality between the services you mentioned and bluray is night and day.

Really good movie. It was great counterprogramming during the summer season. Works well as a holiday/family movie, too.

Movie-only, though, right?

it's a retail disc. the 2 disc version is just a DVD. so this should have everything.

For Peabody and Sherman? Walmart has a Movie-Only Version, which should be identical to rental discs.

right, that would be correct. as i stated before, the 2 disc version is that disc, plus the DVD. so everything is on the one bluray disc!

There is none. It is a very YMMV situation with any discs that redbox puts up for sale.

Yes there is a for sale button option when you are in the screen to rent I would say 20% sell movies and 80% don't around me
