Default Kino International Blu-ray

I haven't heard anything about Kino blu-rays for a long time...
Their fist blu-ray was going to be Fallen Angels. Was it released?
The only Kino blu-ray I have managed to find is this:
http://www.amazon.com/Harvard-Beats-...3228004&sr=8-3
Are any other Kino movies released on blu-ray?

Good evening,

Fallen Angels was not released by KINO (as initially announced). As you have discovered, however, they are coming on board, and I personally am very excited to have them join the rest of the independent distributors.

Let's hope that Koch Lorber Films and New Yorker Films would follow up soon

Kino was slated to release 'Metropolis' as well:

Any news about whether this will actually be released this year?

Hello Russel,

I don't have anything to share with you, yet.

On a slightly related note, have you seen this announcement:

Sadly, "Metropolis" aint coming out (in the US) until 2010 or even 2011. That's according to Kino, but there is a slight chance of it getting releeased somewhere else in the world.

Hadn't seen it until now, but it looks great! Too bad about 'Metropolis', though (if the previous post is true).

That's because they want to bring us the full version of the movie that was found in Argentina last year, few days after Kino revealed their plans for Blu-ray release.

Actually, there are some very interesting developments at the moment that may indeed result in having the New Yorker catalog appear on the market (just like Fox Lorber films appeared under Koch Lorber Films after they went belly-up) even though the company no longer exists.

OMG! Sunrise on Blu Ray!!! UKers are LUUUUUCKY.

Too bad its distributor is 20th Century Fox here. It could be a while before we see it on Blu in the States.

What about Tarkovski's masterpieces like SOLARIS or, even better, STALKER?
