Default Mobile Forum?

I was just wondering if there was a mobile friendly version of this forum? If not, would it be possible for this to happen in the near future?

I hate mobile versions of sites, I love having the full version on my phone.

Default Archive/low-bandwidth version?

Many forums feature an archive/low-bandwidth "read-only" version sans graphics, sigs, avatars, etc. I visit these on my mobile phone if they're available.

Any thoughts on doing this for Blu-ray.com? I would think it just involves running or installing a widget to serve up an archive version.

(I notice an Archive link at the bottom of the page but it doesn't seem to go anywhere.)

I think the OP is talking about load times, not appearance.

Default iPhone Version of Blu-Ray.com

I think it's pretty obvious that Blu-Ray.com is getting bigger every day with the addition of many more members, and especially since HD DVD has come to an end, this website is definitely here to stay. So with that, I suggest an iPhone version of this website, much like how Google and eBay has made iPhone versions of their websites. Not neccessarily talking about the forum, and maybe not even neccessarily EVERY section of this website, but I would say at least the Movies section, News and maybe even FAQ.

I'm all for it. This site is the main reason I'm glad I have unlimited data usage on my phone. The site as is is pretty easy to navigate on the phone, but a site specifically for mobile use would be most welcome.

A mobile version of vBulletin would be nice, but the main page loads fast and looks great on iPhone.

Personally, I vote you guys design an awesome iPhone enhanced website, but then hold it hostage until Apple gets their act together and actually supports the format.

Default mobile blu-ray.com

I can't speak for the rest of the community but I think a mobile version of this site is necessary. I travel a lot for business and would like to be able to view and post from my mobile. this is a tech site. I can go to the normal site now but it is so cumbersome. that's all I got

If you want to see a mobile version of the news just go to the RSS feed. Most smartphones format RSS feeds.

I would LOVE a mobile version of vBulletin. *cough*Iceman*cough*

Meh, I don't mind the version now on my mobile. If you are just browsing and posting it isn't to bad. Trying to do a search can be a mother though....
