Sorry guys, didn't know that O/S postage was such a joke!!!
Don't you HATE it when something O/S is cheap but they #$%@ you on postage!!!!
Postage for a Blu Ray set should NOT cost MORE than the Blu Ray set!!!

I have an idea for anyone interested.....this is purely just to beat the greedy system.

How about I buy the last 5 copies from MightyApe at AUD $22.00 each.

For me postage is only AUD $5 for all of them delivered to my door.

Then you guys simply Email me and pay my Paypal A/C and I send you one.
I 'm pretty sure I can post it safely by air with tracking for HALF what those MightyApe dudes want (maybe even less)

You Email me with your address and order...Pay me say a total of AUD $40 by Paypal.

I send you the set and refund you the change via Paypal....sound good??

Anyone interested Email me at...... linger63@bigpond.com.

Don't waste any time deciding as there's only 5 left!!!!

Remember it's the TRILOGY NOT the QUADRILOGY and Rambo III is LOCKED to Region B

I am a stand up guy who just wants to help.
Will not charge you a cent more than it costs me.

Cheers

Only the UK and Australian releases differ by having Rambo III authored with English subs for the Russian dialogue and locked to Region B.

There seems to be a new German boxset released next week: Link: https://www.amazon.de/Rambo-Trilogy-...keywords=rambo

Is this the same as the "old" box? Only costs 21 EUR...

The "new" German boxset is now down to 13 EUR.
Is it safe to pick the new set or are there any differences with the old Kinowelt/StudioCanal set (still going for 21 EUR)?

Default Rambo - The Trilogy: The Ultimate Edition (Japan Version)

I've just noticed that there is a 2016 Japanese release with the same front cover as the 2011 Germany remastered digipack edition. Since the cover is the same, is it safe to say that the movies are also the same remastered versions like the German edition? Can anybody confirm this? I really want to buy this Japanese edition for the remastered movies, but no reviews can be found yet on this particular edition.

Never mind my question. The German Ultimate Edition is only 16.78Euro (without tax) right now. No need to get the cheaper version.

The Italian set is identical to the German/Spanish sets; remastered discs etc., Rambo III has no English menus and therefore no English subtitles for the Russian parts.

The Italian set you've linked to is a new 2016 repackaging of the original remastered set that was released in 2011, the original set was a DigiPack and this new set is just a 3 disc amaray.

Default Australian BluRay is not the remaster according to this:

According to these specs, the Australian BluRay has the same encoding as the American release. Only the German has the '1080p 24fps AVC MPEG-4' new transfer:

All the other releases have the '1080p 24fps VC-1' transfer.

http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=13062

Can someone please confirm? I bought the Australian release however I don't think it is the new transfer.

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Rambo...lu-ray/218153/

Is it the 3 new Studio Canal 4k remasters in one package? I can't tell!
