Amazon germany and italy (4k) has the best deals.

Amazon spain on the other hand has no multibuys to speak off 10-15 euros for Warner titles etc, i wonder why that is . They are more like Amazon.Com.

Default Amazon.de 10 for 50 sale

Since I have made only one purchase from this site (Tarantula, in 2015), I'm wondering if anyone has any comments regarding titles that I'm considering buying. I'm region free and have checked their listings for being English-friendly, but I'm unsure about the video quality, especially for the older westerns. I'm not really looking for recommendations as such, although those are welcome, but would like a heads-up for anything that looks like an Echo Bridge special. At any rate, I will probably chose ten from the following titles:

The Time Machine (1960)
Strange Days
High Spirits
Tank
The Young And Prodigious TS Spivet
Union Pacific
Midnight Run
King Kong (1976)
The Great Waldo Pepper
The Front Page (1974)
Saskatchewan
Seminole
The Guns Of Fort Petticoat
California
Cattle Drive
The Cimarron Kid

I was stationed in Germany for three years during the 1960's. I now wish I had spent more time out in the "economy," rather than in my room preparing for college. Ah, hindsight!

So, if anyone has an opinion regarding the quality of these titles, it would be much appreciated.

This sale was so awesome! Thank you guys so much for posting it. I just picked up a ton of stuff.

FYI - it looks like as long as you get a minimum of 10, you will continue to get the BDs at 5 euro a piece. I ended up with 23 blu rays from the sale, and it worked out math-wise (at least I hope so - with everything in German, I might have messed something up )

Anyway, here's my haul (and I did my due diligence on this forum, making sure everything did not have forced subs, had English audio tracks, and had English subs if necessary):

From The Sale:
What Lies Beneath
Fortress
Volcano
Strange Days (20th Anniversary Edition)
Dance With The Devil
Solaris (Clooney/Soderberg)
A Family Man (Gerard Butler/Allison Brie)
The Wanderers (Director's Cut) (superior transfer to Kino version)
Saturn 3
Raw
The Resurrected
Runaway
Breakout
Fresh
Victoria
A Lovesong For Bobby Long
The Safe
Gridlock'd
Monster (Charlize Theron - better transfer than US)
Message in a Bottle
The Stunt Man
A Walk to Remember (for my GF
[Show spoiler]just kidding
)

Not From The Sale (Prices Before VAT removal):
+1 (Party Invaders) - 9.99
Silent Trigger (this version has the superior Subkultur transfer but is significantly cheaper - https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07...?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - 9.99
Young Adam - 7.99
Bound (Charisma Carpenter) - 4.99
Ilsa: The Mad Butcher - 18.99 (no deal, but I wanted it)

There are two items (Night Passage and Jackie Chan's First Strike) that I am trying to purchase but Amazon.de won't allow it to be shipped to the USA.

I have seen third party sellers that wouldn't ship here before, but not normal items sent by Amazon. In the case of Night Passage, there are other westerns from the same company (even with Jimmy Stewart) that are fine.

Any thoughts here?

I got hit with the same thing yesterday (tried ordering The House of the Spirits and Thirteen.) This must be a new issue - the same thing happened to me with an Amazon.co.uk order I placed a couple weeks back as well. Before, at least on Amazon.co.uk, I would see that "this item cannot be shipped to the US" message, but was still able to order without any problems. I don't know what the deal is.

I;m not sure why this started a few months ago, but I've seen items sold directly through Amazon (not 3rd Party or FBA) that have started this -- all variations of AmazonEU. I've tried various worarounds, doublecheck, changing addresses in the US, various shipping speeds and nothing works. The only think I've not resorted to since nothing has been critical is contacting Amazon and asking for either an explanation or see if they could override.

I know AmazonCa for a long while has had certain states they will not/can not ship to (Kentucky notoriously, but some Washington state addresses as well) - several Louisville people have run into this, but changing the address to a zip code 5 miles away across the river in Indiana is fine.

I have seen a bunch of titles that dont ship Outside of germany or uk. Are there rights issues that these are exkl for each country or something.

Rio Bravo az.de for ex could be ordered in November but not now.

They should be able to ship all movies you would think.

Check the vendor. Sometimes the lowest price shows up first and might have chosen a third-party seller.

https://www.amazon.de/s?i=dvd&rh=n%3...=featured-rank

I just stumbled upon this sale being active again. It started the 8th and runs until the 15th.

At least on my end, all Amazon sites seem to only allow viewing 16 titles per page so it makes browsing Amazon movie sales like this too much to bother with. If not for that, I used to enjoy these sales.

I've always thought Amazon makes searching their bigger sales very difficult.

Thanks so much for the tip! I had a blast combing through the 2000 titles eligible for the sale. A lot of new titles from the last one. Here's what I ended up going for:

Mindhunters
Fathers and Daughters
Mighty Aphrodite
The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc
The Wild Angels (tired of waiting for an Olive sale)
Maudie
Red Heat
Unlawful Entry
Blood and Bone
Karate Kid III
The Next Karate Kid
Nightwatch (Ewan McGregor)
My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done?
Kaboom
Bel Ami
The Meddler
Beautiful Girls
Being Charlie
The Escort (Lyndsy Fonseca and Bruce Campbell - gotta be something here)
Gangstas 4 Life (crossing my fingers this has English subs)

Then, not from the sale, picked these up for reasonable prices:

Descent (Rosario Dawson)
Viral
A Good Old Fashioned Orgy

Total was $150 US shipped, averages $6.52 a disc. I'm happy.

Henke007 Many sellers only ship to the country they live in because Amazon have not updated the shipping credit given to small sellers for at least 15 years

Up until a month or so ago, Amazon allowed the 60 per page option which was perfect. At least on my end, they changed that and with it just being 16 titles per page, I just don't have the patience to click through 130+ pages knowing they deliberately made it so much more difficult.

Amazon has always seemed to discourage browsing and researching versus just a very narrow search to find items but I just don't bother now.

Hard to beat that price. Those sales always have some good exclusives and titles that are much cheaper than other releases.

Looks like this sale is back on! Picked 10 titles from the eligible listings, but itís not showing the discount. Does anyone know if international customers ineligible for the deal? Iíve ordered to the states from both .de and .co.uk sites and never had an issue qualifying before.
