Most early Fox UHD titles were mastered with that MDL data, yes. Even now, if you check the metadata on the Fox logo at the startup of their discs it still shows 1100/0, or it did the last time I checked (BoRhap).

Okay so I’ve definitely gone crazy then.

This one did just come out, but there's this old edition available as well. The new edition is all 3 movies in 1 case, whereas the old edition was three separate cases in a slipbox.

Yes, the new edition with all 3 in 1 case.
Is that only available online only from Wal-Mart?

Got my order from deep discount and it's the old Walmart edition. How the **** do they use the same UPC for a different edition??

The same way both Wal-Mart and Best Buy did. I got the older version from both of them twice. I just wound up keeping one at the end

I’m guessing BB and Target buy surplus from one another.
I ordered all the “Godzilla Monster Money” BDs from Target. All slips were shrinkwrapped with the BD case shrinkwrapped inside. I had to chuckle when I opened the outer shrinkwrap on Kong Skull Island and see a Best Buy sticker on the inner shrinkwrap.

Sent them an email for a refund. If they can't send me the correct one I'll just send it back and take my money. It's actually quite scumbaggy to advertise a new release with a higher price and then send out an old product. But I guess Fox is to be blamed for using the same UPC code which should be illegal.

That's just Warner reusing the stock Best Buy sent back to them. Sometimes they get lazy. I've had them send me "new" stock multiple times that still has the Best Buy return sticker sealed inside.

Anyways, It's Fox who is putting the old upc on the new version (via sticker) so there's not much these online retailers can do about it.

The big difference between this set and the previous release seems to only be the lack of disc art, but the lack of disc art matches the original trilogy set. I'm still waiting for The Wolverine on 4k disc, not to mention a complete set of all the films in 4k down the road. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a 4k set of all of the films right around the time when Dark Phoenix is being released on 4k....though with Disney now in control of Fox, as Willie Scott once said, "something, something in cantonese....Anything Goes".

I just want the first 2 Wolverine films in 4K. I’ll take the Rogue cut too if that comes to pass

Wow, The Wolverine would look amazing in 4K UHD. I really want that as well.

Was it shot on film? I feel like it was, but I'm not sure.

Agreed. The Wolverine already looks beautiful on Blu-ray; 4K Blu-ray would look even better

For anyone that purchased their copy from Amazon, it says Blu Ray but the pictures show that it is 4k and it's also priced as if it were the 4k copy. Could anyone confirm that it's 4k and Amazon just made an error? There's no reviews for me to go off of so I figured I'd ask here.

I tried ordering this from both Walmart and Best Buy online and both times got the old version. Does anyone know where to find the new one with all movies in one case?

Seems to be very hard to find. I got mine from bluraysforeveryone.com but it was a long wait. I think they order from retailers and make sure it's the correct version before shipping out.
