Lope, can you post photos of the box and contents! What does it look like? I'm happy they didn't DNR the video. That's great. I might have to pull the trigger.

Quick trivia: It happened sometimes with European cinema of the era, typically with international casts. Mario Bava's Twitch of the Death Nerve (Bay of Blood) is the same way. The Italian DVD from Raro features the Italian cut, the Image/Anchor Bay DVDs are English, and the UK BD and DVD from Arrow has both. I know there are others but I can't think of more offhand.

I read in a German forum that unlike the German theatrical version, the International (English) cut of "Nosferatu" has noticible DNR applied.
I have to check that for myself. And additionally I thought that they put in the international scenes with seamless branching.

Again I have to check it...

Aguirre still in 4:3 ? I hate this format even if it's the original ratio.

I tested some scenes of the international version nd even compared briefly with the German one and it's not heavily DNR'd. In fact I couldn't makep out (strong) differences in picture quality.

But I guess the hopefully soon upcoming reviews will give a more informend opinion on these issues...

I read somewhere that Kinski's voice is not used in either the English or German versions of Aguirre so he is dubbed in any case. I'm not sure about the other ones.

Yes at least for "Aguirre", "Nosferatu" and "Fitzcarraldo" it was confirmed a while ago:

"Woyzeck" and "Cobra Verde" also appear as new transfers.
Herzog and the DOPs have supervised the Blu-Ray transfers.

He is also dubbed by someone else in both (English and German) languge versions of "Cobra Verde".
You hear Kinski's own voice in "Nosferatu" (German, English + French), "Woyzeck" (German) and "Fitzcarraldo" (English and German).
