Default Digibook Wishlist (for 2014 and beyond)

"The Wild Bunch" would be my top choice for a digibook release next year. If it had updated picture and audio quality, as well as maybe a few new HD features, it would be a must buy for me! (not to mention its the 45th anniversary next year)

Also, a 3-disc digibook version of "Ben-Hur" would be great too as I want a version with all of the extra features without the huge box set packaging. (55th anniversary for Ben-Hur)

And although it seemse unlikely (as Paramount were never the digibook type), I would welcome a "Chinatown" digibook simply because I don't care for either the standard amaray or steelbook packaging as of now. (40th anniversary)

Lastly, "2001: A Space Odyssey" could use a Blu-Ray upgrade as well and a digibook would look nicely amongst the "Dr Strangelove", "Clockwork Orange", and "Full Metal Jacket" ones currently available.

Also, great would be:

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance 1962 52th Anniversary (Overdue)
Touch of Evil 1958 56th Anniversary (Overdue)
Bringing Up Baby 1938 76th Anniversary (Overdue)
Scarface 1932 82th Anniversary (Overdue)

Rear Window 1954 60th Anniversary
Sabrina 1954 60th Anniversary
Arsenic and Old Lace 1944 70th Anniversary
Double Indemnity 1944 70th Anniversary
Gaslight 1944 70th Anniversary
Lifeboat 1944 70th Anniversary
It Happen One Night 1934 80th Anniversary

Completely agree about "Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" and "Sabrina", although because they are Paramount films, I don't know how likely it is we'd see a digibook of those.
I know Universal are currently working on restoring "Touch of Evil" and "Double Indemnity" so we should see those out probably next year.
"Bringing Up Baby" would be welcome too, along with "The Philadelphia Story".
And concerning "It Happened One Night", both that one and "Mr Smith Goes to Washington" are overdue for Blu-Ray releases, so maybe Columbia should bundle those 2 with some other Frank Capra films for a Blu-Ray box set. That would be an awesome addition to my collection.

I can think of a ton but off the top of my head.

2001
The Blue Max
Wild bunch
Open Range
Elephant man
And many more

And I agree with all from above as well!

I would like everything to be a digibook. If not then all of my favorite movies or movies I plan to buy.

But let's start with Pacific Rim, with a page dedicated to to each Mech & Kaiju with facts/specs, etc...

A couple weeks ago I would have said any of the James Dean movies but that wish has been granted. A couple days ago I would have said The Little Mermaid but alas I am getting very lucky this year. I think I'd have to say The Avengers for a modern want but this question/poll screams for classics. I'd love to see a digi alternate to the new Wizard of Oz Collection coming or a Gone With the Wind one. We'll see what happens, as long as no I Know Who Killed Me releases are planned for digi updates I think I'll be happy.

Also add Roman Holiday to that list, although it's 60th Anniversary this year.

Casablanca 1942 72th Anniversary
Rebecca 1940 74th Anniversary
Citizen Kane 1941 73th Anniversary (UK)
Dial M for Murder 1954 60th Anniversary
Sunset Boulevard 1950 64th Anniversary

I'd like to see Kong '76 in digibook form. The weakest adaptation of the three, I know, but it would look great on the shelf with the other two I have as digibooks.

I believe Universal has overseas distribution, so maybe could happen...

It may have been the weakest, but had some of the best poster art. No doubt that would look amazing on the cover of a digibook.
Good call!

I agree:
[Show spoiler]

(despite the fact that Kong never fought airplanes in the movie, or straddled the twin towers!)

This was actually the first version I ever saw, even before '33... on the big screen, age 12... couldn't be beat!

I want the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection in a digibook for the 30th Anniversary of the comic, with the book portion including the first comic in color (or B&W, but the colorized version is great). That would be awesome
