As many as it takes bro. Can't wait to add the UHD to a very long list, off the top of my head it goes a lil' something like this:

UK widescreen VHS, UK widescreen 'collector's edition' VHS, Criterion CLV & CAV LDs, CAV 'Director's Cut' LD, US DVD in 'snapper' case, UK DVD in 'snapper' case, UK 'collector's edition' DVD with poster & script, remastered UK DVD, 5-disc HD DVD briefcase, 5-disc Blu-ray set, 5-disc Blu-ray briefcase, 5-disc UK 'tin' DVD set, UK Final Cut 2-disc Blu steelbook, UK Final Cut 2-disc standalone Blu, US 30th Blu digibook, 30th 'spinner' Blu set.

I like-a da Blade Runner!!!!

Thanks, but that's nothing compared to the true BR fans around here!

I don't still have all of them though. I've kept the collector's edition VHS and DVD sets along with the Blu-ray briefcase and the 30th anni 'Spinner' set (the latter has just gone on amazon though, as it's OOP it's going for silly money so I thought I might as well chance my arm).

I have the five disc Blu-ray set (collector's edition, but not the special packaging version, just a regular Blu-ray case) and only just watched it a few months ago.

I loved it though, eager to see it in UHD and hopefully HDR!

No interest in Blade Runner (2007), I'll take Blade Runner (1982) or nothing.
I've been an advocate of Bladerunner since 1983 and I've seen all the versions. I think you're wrong. I much prefer the Director's Cut to the original theatrical releasw and the Final version is just the Director's Cut minus annoying issues like wires suspending Spinners and mis-synched dialogue. You REALLY want the narration that Ford DELIBERATELY botched and visible Spinner wires ... WHY?!

Yeah the final cut is AFAIK the only version readily available in 4K, and it's the "definitive" cut so there's little chance this UHD release will be anything else.

Hoping they can get some cleaner and fresher artwork for it, though. Like this composition below by Brian Taylor but using the original photograph/still sources.

I want the other versions too, as much for CINEMA HISTORY as ANYTHING else. As was said, if we were to get upscaled video with lossless audio of those extant transfers then I'd gladly accept it. A proper 4K transfer of the IP would be even better, but I'm not holding my breath.

BTW the Final Cut is much more like the workprint than the DC.

Damned right I did, overlaps of the exact same disc in different packaging notwithstanding. Some movies I've upgraded over the years without ever really watching them but come one man, it's frickin' Brade Runner. I even like the theatrical version, unlike the rest of humanity.

If any alternate cuts are included it will probably be on a separate sku that goes for $50+.

This.

I don't see WB releasing all the alternate cuts in separate UHD disks for $20-$30 dlls. Most likely a $50 35 anniversary collector's edition. Hope I'm wrong.

I get the feeling we're only going to see The Final Cut for UHD, but hopefully I am wrong.

I'd buy the crap out of a UHD boxset that's got all the goodies in 4K. It's not like Warners didn't do it with the Final Cut 10 years ago, there was the 5-disc briefcase set, the 5-disc standalone, then the 2-disc standalone etc. ME WANTEE!!!

You and me both!

A boxset this year and a 1 disc Final Cut early next year to tie in with 2049 in UHD would be smart.

There's the UK Passengers set which came with a script book and art cards.
