Hello all.

Was the new packaging version released today? Really hoping for something like the slimmer slipbox version that Season One had.

I finally got my backorder copy from the Amazon sale from a few weeks ago. I also ordered the standard BD copy with the box when Best Buy had them for $9.99 a couple weeks ago. Now I finally have a reasonably matching set, and can ditch the red tin from season 1.

Love these chipboard boxes. Just like how I prefer to buy my CE anime. They are so nice for collectors.

Apparently it did (March 5th was the official release date), though I only finally found one in a store this evening (this is in Canada,so YMMV in the USA).

It's just like the standard release of S1; a slipbox with 6-disc Viva Elite case inside. My set came with a regular blu-ray 6-disc case; at some point I'll order a black 4k one to swap it with. No digital copy included.

A great alternative for those of us who find digipacks irritating.

Thanks very much for that. If I remember rightly, Canada got the slipbox version first for Season One too so hopefully a US release isn't far off.

Thanks again for the picture.

It's funny, we all got different previews at the end of S8E8 of GoT. I never saw the one for Westworld S3. I received previews for His Dark Materials and Euphoria.

Watching the season 2 UHDs again; such a great looking transfer. Warner may have been inconsistent with the first season, but the second season looks absolutely fantastic.

Also, I still much prefer season 2 to season 1. I’ll be in a very small minority with that opinion, but I loved how bat shit crazy and scattershot it was. Also really enjoyed Ramin Djawadi’s score.

I just ordered season 1 and 2 in 4k on Amazon.FR

https://www.amazon.fr/Westworld-Sais...2&s=dvd&sr=1-1

I'm confused which version of S2 I'll be receiving tbh. The white package, or the slimmer one with the bird? The image says the white package, but when I scroll down on the product page of S2 (somewhere in the middle) it shows me all of the packages available....and it shows S2 as the slimmer package. But when I click on it I get the white package again.

S1 will be the slimmer version iirc. Will it match the digipack (height wise)? The logos seem to be on the same places, so I was just wondering about the height.

Anyone who could help me out?

Just finished this a few days ago, some incredible cinematography and what a soundtrack, made for some scenes that i'll never forget (James Delos & Rolling Stones / Akecheta & Nirvana).

Although I spent so much time completing confused and with clear liquid running out of my ears anytime I'd try to think of the timeline, after a few days thinking back on it, I think it was pretty damn great and such a high quality show in all ways, has me pretty excited for season 3. Great universe they have created and if the next season delivers then this show will be shooting right up my lists. It's also kind of reminiscent of Lost with all the mysteries of the island, facilities, symbols and factions.
