Nothing better to do, I assume? Don't even get me started on a recent experience I had.

ANNNNYWAAAAAY,

very excited for these sets. Sad we aren't getting an actual THE THING UHD in any region (that I've heard about). Also nervous I'll cave in on the SF Steelbook, only for a UHD to be announced in a few months.

Your sacrifice will be appreciated, citizen. It's for the greater good.

Yay, much prefer these to the German versions obviously. Pre-orders made for the three available. Give me Prince of Darkness!

I even paid for expedited shipping.

Yeah these are really nice. Would cost me $170 CDN for all 3 lol. I sent the links to my wife hoping she picks them up for Christmas.

Are these up for preorder anywhere else? Amazon UK doesn't seem to want to ship to Australia.

As much as I love The Fog and Escape from New York I am having to be quite careful with money at the moment so £40 each for these is a bit steep. I am also not a big fan of the artwork they are using or paying bumped up prices for essentially a few extra pieces of paper. I will wait for slimmed down versions. I also have to admit I have never seen They Live. My bad.

Is the 39.99 price likely to be the release price, or will these probably drop closer to 27.99 like The Deer Hunter?

They always drop, Zoom's current retail price for EFNY is £29.99 which is a tenner under AMZ so I'd guess they'll end up around the £27 mark closer to release.

I've dropped a pre-order in for those that are available. October/November is getting bloody expensive.

Glad I never got around to picking up They Live or The Fog now, as i'm informed their previous blu's where shoddy in a similar vein to the Escape from New York blu.

These will all be essential purchases.

Going to grab all 4 (from Zavvi sadly, thanks Amazon). Don't even have a 4K player yet, but between these 4, and Halloween, Christine and Evil Dead, that's enough to make me upgrade

Seems I'm getting conflicting information about Prince of Darkness, well this receive the same kind of packaging or a steelbook? At the moment all I see the regular Blu-ray for pre-order, will we get the 4K UHD link sooner or later?

It's getting a UHD but I think the packaging will be "standard".
