The only problem I have with these boxsets, they are NOT bonus disc friendly. And since the Mission Impossibles series come with a ton of special features, it just sucks.

Is seven Tom Cruises on one cover really enough, though?

It says 13-DISC SET on the spine, so there should be at least 1 bonus disc.

Good thing I kept the bonus discs from the individual releases/exclusives. Same as Transformers.

It say's it's a 13-disc set. I've already bought them individually, so I'll just pick up Fallout by itself.

No, it won’t. It would be 16 discs individually. 3-6 all have 3 discs

I’m rather impressed by the box art. I don’t love it but I honestly expected something outright offensive so bravo, Paramount; you didn’t f*** this one up!

As for the bonus discs, I have the individual releases of GP and RN so I’m assuming I would only be down the bonus for 3, which I could live without.

So part of me really wants this but another part knows Cruise isn’t finished with this series yet and I’m not eager to buy what I know will definitely be an incomplete box set in two, three years’ time. Ugh. Decisions, decisions.

MI-1 and 2 are massive upgrades.
MI-3 is barely an upgrade. I would say the Blu-ray looked better in certain scenes probably due to better retenton of film grain. Will rewatch in Dolby Vision once I get the UB820 this weekend.

Overall MI-3 (HDR10) was a huge disappointment for me.

Agreed, I thought 3 was the weakest looking disc of the lot.

Oh man.

Tempting.

Question is, will there be a 7th M:I?

If so, this is already obsolete

I'll be amazed if he doesn't want to do at least one more. I don't recall him saying this would be his last.

McQ has been on record saying that Tom and the studio have asked him to do a 7th. The editor of FALLOUT and Cruise feel like FALLOUT was the second part to a trilogy that started with ROGUE NATION. So, considering the box office, reviews, and audience reception, no doubt a 7th film is being considered.

Fallout seemed more like a trilogy capper than a middle chapter, but regardless, if TC wants to make more then I'm all for it. I'd prefer a new director though.
