I'm sure that it's tough being profitable in today's e-commerce market but Best Buy's board room is completely out of touch.

lol to BB thinking that people are going to buy stuff at MSRP. BB had this planned all along as they want to get rid of blurays as they bring them no profit and just want to be a display store for crap. Also this hurts us all because Amazon is a price matcher, so if there spiders go and search and see BB's prices they have no reason to lower them. Thankfully...we still kind of have WM and Target for Amazon to PM but Target seems to always forever be OOS when stuff sells out. In the long run it looks like RS is going to be the last of the last places for us anime collectors to get marginally priced anime without it being damaged.

Back in the heyday Best Buy used to have a lot of hidden deals on various anime, like vol. 1 boxes for $10. I think they were posted on Animeondvd.com, otherwise you'd wouldn't know since they usually still had the normal price. I got so many of those, and it was always nice seeing the surprise on the clerk's face when I had them price check to make sure.
