Blu-ray Samurai

![]() ![]() https://www.target.com/p/star-wars-t...836#lnk=newtab Note: Based upon the TFA Target OST expect two things. 1. This will be $9.99 release week, (I expect price drop Sunday or Thursday of next week) 2. Target will ONLY ship the exclusive until they go OOS, and then swap to the standard version, This took months last time, but no guarantee. If you care to sample what the packaging and the art lithos looked like, you can see them in the TFA thread here: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...1&postcount=24 So if you really want it asap I guess order now and you might get lucky and get it early, YMMV, or wait for another price drop and grab it in store. Personally I intend to grab mine next Friday morning in store. |

Here is my set:
![]() Also Alt. Album Art for those who care: ![]() Also confirmed you have 2 weeks to get a PM if the price does drop. Sadly still 11.99 in store as well. And just because store says unavailable on website does not mean copies are not there, I found plenty at my store. |

I am streaming it from amazon while at the gym. Sadly there is no Last Jedi theme to get excited over. Only carry over of Rey's theme and of course OT music. No Kylo Ren's theme..if only they could have found a way to place Vadar's imperial march somewhere.

Target didn't even advertise this in their Sunday ad.
A couple of months ago, my local Target cut their CD section in half. It went from 2 sides of an aisle, to only 1. For some reason, they are pushing vinyl at $20-30 a pop. I guess to go with the record players they sell. What's weird about it is that they are having CD exclusives but not advertising all of them. One CD came out the week they reduced their stock, but showed as them having multiple copies. A worker guessed they were in back and looked for a while, but never found any. I checked a month later online and it still says they have them, even though they don't seem to be there. Very strange. Maybe these exclusives are hold overs put in place before they started reducing their music stocks - in other words, they plan that stuff in advance for manufacturing purposes, so they have them, but aren't promoting them. As far as the score when watching the movie - I only noticed Rey and Kylo's themes here and there, and, of course, the classic themes from the OT. John Williams seemed to make even the incidental music epic and memorable back in the day. I guess he has done so many scores at this point, he's exhausted this type of stuff. I enjoyed the Rogue One score more and found it a more enjoyable listen. The Imperial Suite for that film is very memorable. I wish that was part of the new trilogy, I guess, the Kylo/First Order theme. It's also been 40 years, so John Williams has to move on and grow and can't repeat himself, I guess. |

would kinda like the alternate art, but the "regular" art sort-of matches the Force Awakens soundtrack (Target edition had shinier cover than "regular")
Bull Moose has it for $9.97 right now, and because of their points program I decided 2 art cards wasn't worth the $2 difference. |

yes, it does. The actual packaging is a digipack with the disc sitting in the middle and cards and track listing are inside the left side cardboard sleeve. Both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi are like this.
