Default Where to sell old comic books and Marvel/pokemon/basketball cards?

I recently pulled out my old Marvel card collection from my childhood and I'd like to sell them, what's the best option? I sell a lot on eBay so that's what I was gonna try but I have no idea how to go about selling so many cards... so I thought I'd see what you guys suggest first.

I have a lot of the 1992 set and a few Masterpieces, a lot of the 1993 set and about half of the Masterpieces, a ton of 1995 Marvel Metal and a some random X-Men and Spiderman cards, a few 90' and 91' cards, 94' and 95' Flair Ultra's, etc. I also have a dozen Spiderman comic books from 1993 (including the 30th anniversary gold cover edition) a stack of random basketball cards and a whole binder full of Pokemon cards.

Not sure what the value is on any of this stuff but I'd like to make some decent mula, any help is appreciated, thanks guys!

Just a guess based on what you listed, but I'd guess you might have $100-300 max, now you may have rare stuff only a true collector would see the value in.... Ebay/ Craigslist.

I have Shaq's rookie card and several MJ cards. They are preserved and I'm never giving those away.

Do people actually still collect trading cards these days?

I cleared out my Magic: The Gathering cards at the end of Summer 05 for around $1,300ish.

eBay is your best bet, I believe.

eBay

Sell the sets and the half sets together, don't try to break a set up and sell individually. If you don't have a complete set, list all the cards from the incomplete set together, the numbers of the cards, and the other details. You will make more that way, especially if you have a card or two that someone needs they will buy the lot from you.

When I got rid of my collection I listed it on Craigslist within a few weeks a reseller/collector came and checked the lot out and offer me a price for it...it was easy but again you need to know what the LEAST amount you will take..

I sold my old 1992 & 1993 Marvel Masterpieces Series 1 2 complete sets along with 9 chase cards on Ebay maybe 2 years ago? I only got $20. Keep your fingers crossed that more than one person wants to buy them.

Every card I collected during the boom of the early 90's ended up in the trash can. Holograms, prisms, glow in the dark, die cut, etc etc etc

Ebay is your only bet, it's a pain but there's literally nowhere else you'll get anywhere near the full value you're looking for.

And lol at all you guys saying "Show us pictures, we might be interested!" He's looking to get the best value for his stuff, I guarantee all of you are looking to give him the least possible amount for a deal.

Wrong, I even stated I will pay PREMIUM over ebay because I do not shop on ebay, I only deal with other collectors as I am a collector and ebay is made up of sellers, most who don't even know what they have or are out to scam everyone. ALso he will make more off a private transaction as there is no middle man fees like ebay has.
