They still expire in 2 months if not used. I am an Elite member and i also bank my certificates but they always have expirations. So to have that many saved means he would have had to buy something REALLY expensive to get that high, like a TV or computer.

The certificates say they expire, but they carry over if not used.

You don't get $400 in rewards from buying just a TV and a computer. You'd have to buy all the tvs. I think I got $30 worth when I bought my LG OLED.

Last year, any certificates I generated had an expiration date of 1 year later. This year theyíve been 6 months. Not sure why as Iíve been Elite Plus both years, but I bank my points, so itís not really an issue at all.

What exactly does bank your points mean? That if you don't use the certificate by it's expiration date that you get a new one with a new expiration date? Have you ever had to contact Customer Service or do they always automatically renew? I always use mine, but it would be nice to save knowing when a big purchase is coming.

If you bank point you issue your own certificate as needed. Otherwise they send them at certain total points. I believe you can choose when like at 500 1000 etc. I bank mine til Black Friday then I use them then or by Xmas usually.

I meant bank points and not issuing certificates and letting them bank... Sorry if that was confusing

I'm popping each of the BDs in and then the 4K discs and skipping around to see how they compare. I don't know that I'd ever been disappointed in a PIXAR BD release, and on the contrary they all looked pretty great.

However, the sharpness and vibrancy offered by the 4K releases are absolutely stunning. I never would've complained before, and in fact would have questioned whether there was room for improvement in some cases. But it is apparent when doing a comparison like this exactly how much the releases benefit from the upscaling. Can't wait to round out my PIXAR collection like the MCU.

Not impressed with these Pixar 4K steels, the prior releases (Zavvi & Bestbuy) were far better. They however match and follow the design scheme of Toy Story 1-3.

Did any of the earlier Pixar steels get eventual temporary price drops/sales? I do t think Toy Story 1-3 did but I can't remember for the others.

If you use their credit card (I don't have one) you earn at a higher rate. If you open an account and get 10% back as rewards for the first day, you'd only have to spend $4000 (so a TV and a computer could easily hit that).

I was debating on these, but after seeing them in the store today, I'm glad I didnt. They are just so plain looking. I dont mind paying extra for a great looking steel, but when I can get the regular 4K from DMC for 15, 35 is a big jump for such plain artwork.

Also, the BB CC is amazing for RZ certs. I get at least 35$ a month just from stuff we were going to buy anyway. Since I pay it off every month, its essentially free BB money.
