Glad it's worked out for you guys. They are fun. I don't know why many more HT's install them. I like my buttkicker system more than 3D.

You know I can get mine so powerful that my drink rattles in my cup holder. Or the remote goes for a walk.

Steve, I highly recommend mounting to the 5" steel plate when the time comes.

Alsothe SA100 seems to doing a good job of powering these things. I have the level at about halfway and its set at about 80hz.
Thanks for the advice. I haven't flipped my sofa yet to see what all will be involved. It's double reclining and has a wood frame (I thought it was a metal frame to start with). I contemplated just using one of the mounting kits where you mount the BassShaker to a plate and then set one of the sofa's feet on the plate, but I'd rather have the BassShakers up in the sofa out of sight. I'll be posting here again when the time comes though so I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Well,I wrote a long post about this but I accidentally deleted it. Long story short: I installed the Buttkicker isolators today after a week without them. WOW! If you dont use these youre really not getting the most out of your investment. It not only took the vibration out of the floor but intensified the effect.

You can see the difference. Left is the feet that came stock with the couch. Right is the Buttkicker isolator. They added about an inch height.

Are those the small or medium isolators?

Those are the medium ones. I also ran into an unforseen circumstance. When I was cleaning I realized I now had to struggle to move the couch so I ordered some felt sliders and it madei much easier on myself.

Finally hooked up the transducer to my recliner. It really makes movies more fun. Any long action scene with explosions I was just sitting there with a big smile on my face

I currently have a buttkicker advance with the 300 watt buttkicker amp. When I initially bought it, I noticed that I had two subwoofer outputs on the back of my Yamaha 673 amp..i figured I could configure the sub's separate with gain and crossover...this is not true unfortunately. So I have a few questions about amps.

What amp would be good to run the buttkicker advance? Im also looking at adding a clark synthesis tranducer..so I need to be 1000 watts with the ability to power both devices.

Im also looking at getting a BIC F12 subwoofer which has a built in crossover..ive debated on using the sub's crossover and having it bypass the amp's crossover, which would allow me to use my receiver's amp to set up the settings for the transducer..not sure if it would work like that or not though

please advise.

I have a basic question....

Im looking at buying an amplifier with a built in crossover. All of the power amps im finding have RCA inputs..but the only cable I have is a subwoofer cable from the back of my receiver. How do I connect my subwoofer cable to the RCA jack?

I had the Buttkicker but found the unit to fail - both the original amp, and even the transducer itself.
I still have the second Buttkicker amp and decided to get a Clark Synthesis TST429 Platinum Transducer. The first just died. When I sent it back the company they gave it a look over and said it was over driven - they could explain it. It was replaced and now the second unit fail. What's going on. Now that it's out of warranty I'm out $500.
When it worked it was better than the Buttkicker, with a more defined shake but I'm not laying out more money on something that doesn't last.
Very disappointed.

So your subwoofer cable is not RCA what is it then? well it should be that's what I have on my amp.
