I know this is off the initial quote, but it would be nice if they did a follow-on movie with a future David instead.

If the script is updated too far it makes it overly difficult too make a follow-on movie.

The initial plot-line has enough flexibility of allow for David to age.

The movie is a classic fora reason. What should be done is to project into the future what has happened to David, and Tri-Maxium as well. Then have Max return for some reason.

David with all the knowledge that Phaelon has placed in his mind and as well as the ability to speak mentally to Max, would give a introduction to an older more mature David who can fix the immature personality that was impressed on Max.

However, she did say she'd pass my comments onward, so here's my idea: get the word out yourself (and encourage others to do the same), by calling them at 1-800-723-4763; just follow the prompts until you get a live call. If enough people do this, we may yet stand a chance of getting this beloved classic in HD.

Just one problem: Max removed all that extra knowledge when he scanned David's brain. The personality was a result of Max gaining unintended "extras" from the test (since he stated he'd never performed it before).

If you watch the movie again you'll find that Max says, at Davids expressed worry about having his brain damage by the mind transfer,"You will retain all Data."

Japan (who is also region A) is getting a release on April 11th. It's being released by King Records, so apparently Disney felt it wasn't worth releasing, so they licensed it out.

Default Flight of the Navigator comes out tomorrow

I see that it is being released tomorrow on blu-ray on Amazon but it costs $40 bucks, I tried to find a existing thread so I can bump it but there is no thread, I am happy it is finally out on Blu-ray but $40 is too high, I will until it reduces to $20

To anybody who is getting it tomorrow, can you tell me if it has English subtitles?

I am sure this was the Region B release that Amazon is going to stock. That is why the price is so high.

Probably cheaper if you order it from Amazon UK

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Fligh...lu-ray/51254/#

Standard shipping for it would equal about $20.85

It's also on Blu-ray. You do realize that BD won the HD war and is still in production today while a new HD-DVD hasn't been produced in years, right? Also, this a thread about "Flight of the Navigator".

On topic: "Flight of the Navigator" is comin' to Blu-ray?! TOMORROW?! Goodness gracious me! It is sooooooo mine!

And you do realize that you're replying to a post made in 2007 before the HD format war was decided right? So before trying to be all condescending, do try and actually read what you're replying to before making a fool of yourself. I should also point out that you're replyng and asking questions to someone who has been banned for years.

Another childhood favorite that I'd love to have on blu. I've thought of importing but don't want to deal with any of the hassle of getting it to play in my setup and thus will just have to wait it out for a hopeful domestic release.
