Amazon is a good place for movies, but do check elsewhere as they don't always have the best price.

I thought the thread title was in jest. Is Amazon safe.

I've ordered from them and had a few arrived as if they passed through a shredder, thanks to the complete lack of packing material....not even a bubblewrap envelope and they replace it or refund it....without question.

Walmart on the other hand SUCKS. On black friday I purchased about 50 movies. 3 were damaged inside due to the disc moving around and one had an expired non working code but the date was covered by a walmart decal so I missed it.

They wouldn't return them and I couldn't exchange them as the bin was empty and they didn't have it anymore to do an even exchange. I suggested they order it, they said they will not. So now I have three useless movies. I just had to buy the digital for the expired one and I'll just rely on the streaming for the others two.

I'll buy from Amazon everyday but never again from Walmart.

I buy new Blu-Rays on Amazon but prefer to buy pre-owned on EBay as I can see pictures of the condition of the cases as well as seeing if it comes with limited edition extras like the booklets/slip covers etc.
