Default Linking from an image?

Whilst I'm not a "newbie" I may be missing the obvious answer to what's probably a basic question:

How do I link from an image I attach in a post?

Example: I add a link to the image address of a BD cover in a review on this site in a post (using the Insert Image icon), and want other members to be able to click on the image to get to the review.

If it's relevant, I use a Chromebook/Chrome browser almost exclusively when on this site.

When you go to a Blu-ray,the URL will have a number at the end...this is specific to that disc....just copy and paste the number ,highlight and use the [BD] tag to make it link.
