Default Pink Floyd's the Wall

Anyone have any interest in seeing this on blu?

I'd love to see it come with some good extras, like maybe an entire live performace of the Wall.

Any thoughts?

I can't imagine this movie in HD. It's trippy and creepy enough normally. That's not a bad thing, but if you suffer from depression, you'd better avoid this film.

The Wall is a classic and would benefit from bluray. I would buy it and put it on my shelf next to Across the Universe.

Having this with lossless audio would make up for the lack of a remastered CD or SACD release of the studio album.

I LOVE THE FLOYD!

But I never really cared too much for The Wall (EDIT: in reference to the film not the music). I don't think the linear story was the right approach to their music. Although if it comes on blu I'll finally get it.

A classic, amazing album AND movie. This is a must see, a must buy. This would be so worth it on Blu. I also wish the album was on SACD.

I am a fan of prog rock, classic rock, college rock, etc., does anyone have any suggestions of SACDs that I should buy? (preferably with multi-channel)

It was loosely based on Roger Waters story growing up. I think it would be awesome to have it on blu.

Tear Down the Wall!

It would only be appropriate to bring the Wall to Hi-Definition

Yeah but I think the movie worked better in it's metaphorical sequences. The animation bits in particular.

I see what your saying. I don't know if I would have understood though. I hat to say I can't go into detail about since it's been a long time since I've seen it. I know there was a couple of scenes where I had to get my friend to explain. She got me to see it. She's a big Pink Floyd fan. Knows everything.

The Wall would be a Day 1 for me. Hell, it'd be a Day 1 for everyone in my family!

I'm glad there's interest out there, maybe someone at MGM will notice...(lol)

Again, I'd love to see some great extras, prefferably an entire live performace of the wall.

I was only 1-2 when the Wall tour was going on, and I can't drop 300 buck to go see Roger Waters whenever he comes around, so this would be pretty much my only chance to see anything live from them.
