I think it is long passed time for a thread where we can organise email/social media campaigns to get distributors to pull ipntheir socks and improve the content and attitude in all iTunes Stores.
Post here if you want help/want to help put an end to unnecessary relisting, get more movies upgraded, movies added, iTunes Extras added, alternate cuts added and upgraded to 4K. It doesn’t matter what country you are in or what store you use - people in the US can email distributors about the UK, Singapore, etc. Stores and vice versa. We can also get Apple to pay attention to things we want in iTunes. Personally I’m going mad from wanting movies tagged with the correct genre, the ability to organise a movie library like with playlists or by series, and most of all proper Family Sharing where I can decide to not share a specific movie and it does not appear on my Family Share. As Rik1138 preciously advised we need to contact distributors about each movie individually even if a movie is part is a series where they all have the same issue. This increases the volume of messages and customer service cannitbignore is. To start with the following movies are missing Dolby Atmos in the Irish and UK. I’ve already emailed Paramount but nothing will happen unless more people do so too. If you use a different Store please post and I will add it - I still have the draft emails and it is no bother for me to email again about a different iTunes Store. Star Trek (2009) Star Trek Into Darkness Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows War of the Worlds (2005) Transformers Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Transformers: Dark of the Moon The following Universal movies were upgraded to 4K in the US but no where else as far as I know The Mummy The Mummy Returns The Mummy: Tomb of Dragon Emperor 47 Ronin The Great Wall Gladiator (extended version) - Gladiator (theatrical cut) was removed from the Irish Store. I think we would all like it returned, upgraded to 4K and gave the extended cut and extras added to it like in the US. Missing Fox movies: Ireland and the UK only have the theatrical version of The Passion of the Christ with no extras. Help getting Fox the US edition would be great. I also have a personal request. MGM has not added the James Bond bundles to Irish Store except for the Craig Set. This has not prevented them from placing the same limited time price promotion on the Irish Store that the UK has. I can find no way to contact MGM from here so I used the the iTunes Feedback form (https://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html) to request Apple help. If people could use this firm to just say “please add the Janes Bond bundles to the Irish Store” that would be cool. If anyone knows how I can contact MGM please let me know. I believe they are meant to be available in Ireland and that it is a simple administration error when creating the listing. Please post about anime issues you want help with. Also post when you have contacted the distributors. And you should always include a paragraph that the issue is not Apple’s responsibility- that saves time because customer service always try to blame Apple.
