i bought a $100 GS giftcard from with my AMZ credit to use towards the 1TB PS4 cuz i couldn't find any deals for the Pro. now i'm wondering if i should just scratch that idea and get a Pro

also, does gamestop sell giftcards to other retailers in store? i've only really dealt with them online and not much. target has 15% off cyber monday and that plus red card seems to be the better deal on the PS4. but i'm still stuck with the $100 GC for GS i may not even need anymore

I know they sell gift cards other than their own but I couldn't tell you if it's to other retailers or just itunes, restaurants and or clothing.

I'm still thinking of doing the Target deal but wanted to make sure I had one 1st so I ordered one through Best Buy (I have no interest in Destiny 2 or having a white console so I didn't purchase the Amazon set) and if I can get one through Target on Monday, return the BB one. Just don't want to put all my eggs in the Target basket and then it's OOS.

You also have to look at the possibility that the PS4 1TB slim might be back to $299.99 on Monday at Target as the $199.99 is the BF price. I know it says 15% off even off of sale prices but you don't know if the $199.99 price will still be in effect. 20% off of $299.99 = $240.
Right now at Game Stop it's $199.99 + $50 GC, which is the best deal, unless you would rather have $60 in Kohl's cash.

For me $400 - 20% = $320, which would be better than the deal that is out there now on the PS4 Pro. But again I secured myself to have one regardless and then try to get one for a better price from Target on Monday.

Was up late to ensure I could get the PS4 Slim + Gift Card. Put it in my cart first thing and started adding games and fell asleep in the middle of it.

Went the cheap route and grabbed a PS4 slim. They still had plenty at 6pm with $50 gift card. Great deal. Can always upgrade to a Pro when the price drops

The store was packed & almost everyone there was getting a PS4 with the $50 gift card.

$40 1yr PS+. Sounds great but my current subscription doesn't expire til end of Jan. How would that work, in terms of adding the time on?

Pro Rewards Elite. Worth it? In terms of perks, discounts, etc?

The PS+ time stacks so you can buy it now & enter it. It'll extend it by another year after your current sub expires. I have like almost 2 yrs on my PS+ now.

Good to know. Ended up going for pre owned Dishonored 2 Limited Edition, Uncharted 4, & FFX/FFX-2, & upgraded to Pro Elite. U4 was free, which was nice.

Having buyers remorse on D2 tho. No slip for the bonuses, which I shouldve expected but didn't. so I might take it back, go for Lost Legacy for 20 (which I wanted to get to start with, but couldn't, as they wouldn't price match their used copy wth)

So I went down there to my local gamestop with a $30 giftcard that I have been saving since this summer. Here is what I found:

Woldenstein 2 Passed on it for now since I heard bad reviews. Will get it on Steam instead.
Injustice 2 $14 Sold out.
Destiny 2 $27 Free Cade Figure with purchase Sold out of statues.
The Last of Us Remastered $10 Sold out.
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare with MW1 Rematster $35 Decided to hold off as I won't be able to play online with my friends as they moved on to COD:WW2.
Horizon Zero Dawn $20 Sold out.
Halo wars 2 $20 Sold out.



I ended up just getting Final Fantasy 15 for the wife. She kept wanting to play it every time she saw a commercial for it. It was $22 with tax, so now I have $8 left to spend there.

Did you buy online? I got ordered mine around 4:30am & the gift card was emailed to me less than 5 minutes later. The email is from orders, not Gamestop.
