Default Disney, Who helped me

Everyone loves to hear stories when a large company helps one person out. To those who wish to read, here is another.

My first two blu rays I ever bought was POTC1 and 2. I bought them thirty minutes before I purchased the PS3. A few months or less later, there was an article and possibly on this site, suggesting that there will be an exchange program for POTC1 movie, which had a framing issues. The problem was that the exchange program at that time, did not mention of any indication that they will help those who lived outside America and Canada. I search for any information on how I could get the exchange disc to Australia, but my research failed.

So I sent an email to Disney.

A few weeks later, I got a reply

Quote:

I replied back with the appropriate details.

Few weeks later, I recieve another email.

Two months went by, and I heard nothing more. Around two weeks ago, I sent another email to Disney, but never received a reply, and I started to fret.

But today I came home, and there was a parcel for me. 'Did I buy something? No', 'Maybe I won something!' I said to myself. I had no idea what was in this parcel, and it was sent from America.
In all honesty I totally forgot about POTC. Then I opened the parcel, and there it was, the replacement disc.

I sent no receipt or any other proof of purchase, not even the store on where I bought the disc, or the date, nothing at all. This to me shows a lot about the character of Disney. They have set the benchmark in blu ray quality, and it feels damn good to be helped this way.

So this is me sharing the love.

It's not just on the internet. I see it all the time at work. Everyone wants to find someone to blame, no one wants to solve the problem. It's disgusting.

It's true. But, civility has gone the way of the dodo bird. People who just start throwing fits remind me of the little child crying in the gorcery store when mother tells them "no candy today." Some people are just spoiled or bitter.... Think about it, there are entire television shows (Wife Swap, Super Nanny, or something) that surround this premise for kids. As adults, it's become about who can push others around the most in order to get something out of someone.

If you're civil, and you make a good point, you'll get so much more than just a replacement 99 of 100 times.

Disney was great to me also. The lady on the phone was extremely nice. Almost aplogetic that it would take 2-3 weeks to get my new disc. (it actually got here in 4 days)

And yes, common courtesy is becoming all too unfamiliar to people.

Disney is the best for everything. I cant believe some people hate Disney, but I guess its the people who try and sue Disney for ridiculous reasons and lose the case.
