Great picks:

Hable con ella: Perhaps the best film by Almodóvar
Santa Sangre: One of Jodorowsky's best. Do I need to add something else?
Voces Inocentes: marvelous film by Mandoki

2 thirds of my DVD collection are "foreign" movies. Sadly only a couple of those titles have been released on Blu-ray so far.
Some of my fav ones are these:

Rashomon
Y tu mamá también
The Mirror
Raise the Red Lantern
El Topo
Skammen (Shame)
Eat Drink Man Woman
Los olvidados
Fitzcarraldo
Nausicaä
The Devil's Backbone
Nights of Cabiria
Ikiru
Amores Perros
Z
The Grave of the Fireflies
Sólo con tu pareja
The Exterminating Angel
The Decalogue
Central Station
Bad Education
Alphaville
Babette's Feast
Festen
Pixote
Machuca
The Five Obstructions
Silent Light
Cronos
The Umbrellas of Cherbourg
Blind Chance
Accattone
Amarcord
Day for Night

and many more...

Anyone has seen it by the way ?
I don't speak a iota of japanese but I have seen all the films by Hayao Miyazaki, so the answer is: YES I have seen it

Let me guess which one is... His first feature film: The Castle of Cagliostro? or perhaps his latest one: Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea? or another one?

It's Gake no ue no Ponyo or Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea.
And I happened to have seen it last night. Though it was more child-oriented than the previous works of Miyazaki, it was nonetheless a very nice tale.

This played a huge part in my decision to go region-free and Multisystem for Blu-ray. There's so much more great foreign cinema on BD in Europe than in the USA. That being said there are still a TON I want; I could go on forever, but to name a few:

Blowup
Metropolis
(1927)
M
The Lovers
The Fire Within
Beauty and the Beast
(1946)
The Conformist
The Last Emperor
(re-release with all the Criterion DVD extras)
El Topo
The Holy Mountain
Rashomon
The Seven Samurai
Revanche
Irréversible
La Haine

Not to mention all the British films I want, including:

Get Carter (1971)
Sleuth (1972)
The Italian Job (1969)
If....
Snatch
Trainspotting
The Offence
Sexy Beast
The Long Good Friday
"You might very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment."

The Italian Job 40th Anniversary Edition, Sexy Beast, Long Good Friday and the Ultimate Edition of Trainspotting are all due on Region B in June. Don't know whether they'll be locked
