Default Why was The Perfect Weapon never released on dvd?

It's an awesome movie yet no dvd release? Will paramount get it together and release this on blu??? This just about the film with authentic Kempo.

they showed this movie like every year on tv... extended cut no less but you can only buy it on vhs?
