From what Diabolik said on their Facebook page, the German release has the soundtrack and not the bonus disc. But from what I see, the French release does have the bonus disc. This is all more than a bit confusing.

Asked this in another thread, but is Zavvi a good site to order from? Just ordered the collector's edition from the site earlier this morning.

Zavvi is a reputable site with lots of fans around these parts. I wouldn't expect any issues.

MGM does license though, so if Shout or whoever else ever dives into UHD then I bet EFNY and The Fog are high on the list of potential early label releases. I doubt they'd be any better than these lovely sets though, so why wait.

What are the odds Kino is releasing one of these as their first 4k? The Kino Insider told me that they should be making the announcement very soon and that was last month.
LG OLED65B7P / Oppo UDP 203 / Denon X4300H /
Klipsch RP 440c / Klipsch RP 250f / Klipsch RP 240s x4 /

They ARE pretty close to MGM, but I feel like the Man With No Name movies are more likely candidates from them.

I would think Shout has first dibs on 4Ks of these, given they licensed them for Blu-Ray from MGM in the US and not Kino.

And didn't Kino already say they were debating doing Good, The Bad and the Ugly as their first 4K UHD release? IMO if they are going to release a 4K it's going to be that, or one of the other Clint/Leone westerns.

I think they already confirmed that they are doing a UHD boxset but not until the third BD gets released. I could be wrong about that though. Geoff will know.

The KL Insider said they are hoping for a late Q4 early Q1 release for their first title and the announcement is close. I suppose it could be TGTBTU

It’s my understanding that a UHD deal from distributors is separate from a standard BD so I’m not sure if they have the rights.

Kino already talked about releasing a GBU UHD on Facebook months ago. I can’t imagine their first disc would be anything else.
