I thought the movie was really good and the 3D was really good as well. It was a daring ending, but it will lesson this movie in my eyes if they retcon it or something as I assume they will.

As for the imax stuff, I would have loved to have it fill the screen, but I never really felt like something crucial was cut off. As for Thanos's head getting cut off (which seemed to get mentioned a lot in this discussion) there were very few if any scenes where his head was off screen but wouldn't be in 16:9.

Well, theater 3D glasses work just fine with my LG Oled. I don't even use the ones that came with the TV, because I like the theater ones better.

Actually let me have a look when I get home from work, it may still be sitting in a pile of them to go to the recycling.

I throw all my packing away and store the discs and the cover art in sleeves because they take up too much space.

If I have it I would gladly send it to someone who wants it x

Best part? No idiots ruining it by turning on their cell phones in the theater! Here's to hoping for an increased field of vision with PSVR 2.0 (and 4K OLED I hope!)

The 3D is definitely nice. Just how I remember it in the theaters, only cleaner and brighter thanks to the headset. And yes, no people around! lol
It is great to see more people using the PSVR for watching 3D BDs. I only have a 32" 3D TV and never use it.
I have friends who say a good 55" 3D TV is way better than watching with 3D VR sets although they never tried it, but I like the PSVR for watching 3D movies way more and it is the closest thing to watching 3D movies in cinemas.

I also tried the PSVR on PC and thought it is slightly better in quality but it is a huge hassle and have a lot of issues so I decided to stick with the PS4.

Agreed about the ending. There's no way they can
[Show spoiler]kill off those characters
since they are all in their
[Show spoiler]own franchises
, especially
[Show spoiler] Black Panther and Spider-Man. They'll no doubt find a way to bring them back with the time stone or reality stone, deflating the impact of those characters disappearing. Hopefully they do it in a way where everything is on the line to save them or not.

Watching it in the PSVR is a good alternative back up, agreed. The main advantage of the 3DTV would be higher resolution and the freedom to look around in the real world, as the PSVR is complete darkness other than the movie screen in the virtual world.

I just got done playing Transference on PSVR, and thanks to the realistic interior of the apartment, that game transported me into a stereo 3D Twilight Zone for a few good hours. The PSVR is definitely a great example of strong 3D in most of the games available for PSVR.

Have they updated the PSVR or something?

Every time I have tried to watch a film in it it looks so bad I turn it off.

I do not watch movies on my PSVR. It looks awful compared to a 3D TV.

yes the resolution of the PSVR headset is so low that "screen door" effect and low image quality are unavoidable. I am sure that Sony is working on a new PSVR unit for release with it's upcoming Playstation 5 that will be worlds better in quality than the current unit. It should provide a really great way to view 3D blu ray or online content.

Here is the French version of the 3D, decided on this over Amazon Uk as that copy may not have come with a slip and it seems less people order from Amazon France. The A logo and Avengers is embossed

I'm waiting for my 3D copy to come in. I saw this on a tiny screen on the airplane to Greece, but it doesnt do it justice. And I have 2 4K copies but I really want to see this in 3D

Just got my copy today as well. For some reason, all my orders dispatched near the end of August/beginning of September always take a month or more to get here. Be interesting to see how long my Solo steelbook will take to get here. Probably be here next week, unless Canada Post goes on strike.
