Question Rules About Signatures

Sorry, if i missed this, but are there specific rules about signatures? I had included my YouTube movie review channel in my signature, but noticed this morning that it had been removed.

Can someone please let me know what the specific rules are?

Thanks in advance!

As long as there is no advertising in your channel it should be ok. Sig links that lead to a member's site, blog, channel, ect. where ads are supported is considered self promotion which is not allowed.

Thanks. Nope - no advertising. Just wanted to share my reviews and updated with everyone in my signature.

Thanks for the clarity. Will add back the link.

Just a general question. I've noticed that certain members have gold stars next to their name when they post and they range from "Top Ranked HT" to "Senior Member" "Top Contributor" Etc.... How do you display these next to your screen name?

they auto show up once you meet the requirements.

Ok...I thought that might be how it works. But I wasn't sure being that I've seen members with *"Top Ranked HT" when their HT average is a 4.9 with only having 44 ratings. Thanks for the answer!

Is there a user setting to suppress/hide signatures on posts? I'd prefer not to see them at all. Would be great if this was a feature so I could only see the actual content of posts and not any signatures.

I tend to see the same posters in threads I visit, and so reading a thread, you see the same signatures over and over and over. Just takes up space, imo.
