Default Will we ever get the great 80s/90s horror flicks on 4k?

I am specifically talking about the following movies,

1.Nightmare on Elm Street
2.Halloween collection (I know the OG is on 4k)
3.Friday The 13th
4.Scream 1-4

Do any of these seem likely? It really feels like the possibility of any of these coming to 4k is unlikely.

Scream 1-4, great? Huh?
To each their own I guess.

I think the scream movies would eventually come to 4K... Lionsgate might throw out the first to see if it sells? As to horror in general from 80's and 90's depends, in all likelihood.

That genre seems really shallow for UHD catalog so far.

This year marks the 35th anniversary since the first Nightmare on Elm Street came out so maybe there's a decent chance of a possible Nightmare on Elm Street collection on 4K Blu-ray, hopefully with some Dolby Atmos or DTS:X.

Friday the 13th I hope Paramount and New Line/WB team up to do a series boxset sometime next year for the 40th anniversary, the rest I'm not sure they'll happen anytime soon, especially due to the Weinstein controversy.

Doubtful. While there are some catalog titles being released on the format, UHD is going to be mostly new (or newer) films. It takes too much time and money to remaster the older films.

The movies you listed each have excellent Blu-rays available. Be grateful. And ignore contrary opinions from people who find crass '80s sitcoms to be funny.
