Default Kim Possible Live Action TV Movie, February 15th, 2019

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7979492/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Everyday teen hero Kim Possible (Sadie Stanley) and her best friend Ron Stoppable (Sean Giambrone) embark on their freshman year of high school, all while saving the world from evil villains. While Kim and Ron have always been one step ahead of their opponents, navigating the social hierarchy of high school is more challenging than the action-heroes ever imagined. With Drakken (Todd Stashwick) and Shego (Taylor Ortega) lurking in the wings, Kim must rely on her family and friends on Team Possible -- Ron, tech-genius Wade (Issac Ryan Brown), new friend Athena (Ciara Wilson), and Rufus, a naked mole-rat -- to stop these super villains.

Saw some promo photos for it a few months ago, she just didn't seem very Kim Possible-y to me, maybe it's the hair? I don't know. I'll probably check it out out of curiosity, KP was a big thing for my town in the 7th/8th grade lol

I saw an ad for this while watching Resistance. I think the girl looks pretty good.

I think it will do fine for it's target audience on the Disney Channel. I actually like the cartoon series, so, at some point, i'll give it a peek.

Seems perfectly Kim Possible-ish for me. Didn't she did this kinda stuff in the show too?

I thought it was always sort of more of a secret, not so in the open like that.

I wonder how they'll get around the call me beep me theme song, my 13 year old cousin ask me what a beeper was last summer. I died inside.

Please. Kim is much more agile and a faster runner in the animated show. Not to mention, her espionage was completely kept secret, so I'm confused as to why her neighbors are entirely aware of her spy activities.

It's been a long time since I've watched the show, but if I recall, her entire family is aware, and at times it seems a majority of the other characters, schoolmates included, knew to. The show never seemed to make a huge deal about the secret agent identity angle. Which is what made it really refreshing to me compared to other shows, where the secret identity was almost a crutch.

I'm am actually kinda surprised the live action film isn't working, since I thought it was supposed to be written or at least produced by the creators of the original series. Maybe they should have gone theatrical budget.

I always saw it as her family and Ron were the only ones who knew. I don't even think Raven's character knew when she came on.

Honestly, the creators can be involved but taking a cartoon to live action probably wouldn't work for 98% of animation, especially one that was high concept like this for its time. Kim did some pretty unrealistic stuff.

The idea of beepers was outdated by the early 00s.
