The Village
Because it was a beautiful film with a beautiful soundtrack and there’s not even a Blu-ray copy of it out, which I think is a shame. Shot on film with a 2K DI, but I don't think it had much VFX if any so it would probably be a good candidate for a 4K re-master.

House of Flying Daggers
This is also a beautiful film that actually does have a Blu-ray, but its video quality is awful. This one did have a lot of VFX, so it may not be possible to bring up the quality if it doesn't exist in the DI (which I've heard it doesn't), but if there's any way, I would love that.

The Fall
Another beautiful film that would be stunning in 4K.

The Dark Knight Trilogy
Of course.

PIXAR's Catalog
This one would be interesting to find out how possible it would be. I think Pixar renders all of their films in 2K, and I'm sure it would be a ton of work for them to go back and re-render everything in 4K, but if they did it I think it would be amazing. If we had a choice of only a few titles, I'd probably pick Finding Nemo, Wall-E, The Incredibles and Monsters Inc.

Looks like someone doesn't import at all. The HK release is far superior.

My criteria for wishlist is a combination of guilty favourites (unlikely to see quality treatment) and movies which most would consider "made" for releasing in HDR and all that! I will list those two categories regardless of current availablilty -- I'm so happy with my 500+ blu-ray collection, however, these double dips would be welcomed in time! I'm yet to start collecting so it's all wishlist....

=================

This first list is titles visually or just seemingly compelling for the best representation of movies on home entertainment. While still being favourites of mine.. (in no particular order)

=Made for 4K HDR= [HDR, WCG, and atmos]
LOTR trilogy (theatrical)
Indiana Jones trilogy
Jurassic Park trilogy
BTTF trilogy
The Matrix
Tron: Legacy
Jaws
Titanic
The Rock
Batman Begins
Saving Private Ryan
Top Gun
Mission: Impossible
[Show spoiler]Inglourious Basterds
Minority Report
U-571
Super 8
The Day After Tomorrow
Forrest Gump
Con Air
Watchmen
Avatar
300
Star Wars saga [9]
Gladiator

Aviator
Gangs of New York
Band of Brothers
House of Cards
No Country for Old Men
Kill Bill vol 1&2 [2]

Looper
Glory
Road To Perdition
Knowing

Terminator
Mission Impossible 2+ [5]
Swordfish
The Thin Red Line

San Andreas
Atomic Blonde
John Wick
Logan
Spider-man Homecoming
John Wick 2
The Shallows
Star Trek
Lucy
Ex Machina
Man of Steel
Life
Kong: Skull Island

==================

And my dream list of staples of home entertainment. Most won't be prioritised, a handful may never see release at all and most could fall victim to being sub-par releases in some way... e.g not starting mastering w/good scan? no hdr? (I hope not)

=Dreamlist= [HDR, WCG.. minimum]
Field of Dreams

I only really like and own the third one but if Warner decided to release a boxset, I might just buy the damn thing. They would all probably look amazing on UHD, especially Forever and B&R.

They delivered us a great present with Nolan's trilogy. Now I just need the rest of the dark knight stuff.

Twin peaks season 3, i cant say how much this would benefit of HDR! And i just cant get enough of any of theese seasons, but season one and two would probobly not be a huge step up from the BDs even though they were scanned in 4K

I am a horror fan first. But, I love musicals of all kinds. I am irritated with the horrible Blu-rays that most films of Rogers and Hammerstein’s musicals have received (Not including Oklahoma in Todd A-O, which is very good). The one I wish for the most in 4K is Carousel. I can just imagine the colors during the dance while they sing “June Is Busting Out All Over” in 4K.
