The 4k Blu-ray of HEAT is one of the greatest audio visual restorations I have seen/heard.
Should arrive this fall.

From the Oscars website it makes it sound like they have only planned for a limited theatrical release. It made no mention of 4K streaming or UHD release.

I really want this on UHD.

How HDR and Atmos or DTS-X?

Heat released on Bluray look pretty poor picture and original 5.1 audio was very good.

I think at a minimum we'll see a Blu-ray release with the new master. As for UHD, Warner seems a bit more hesitant with catalog titles. There are quite a few UHD titles available on Vudu from Warner that haven't seen a UHD Blu-ray release, and a lot of them are catalog titles. Heck, even The Nice Guys saw a UHD release on Vudu but no UHD Blu.

There is no mention of UHD. It will probably be a 4k BD.

New Regency owns the film. Fox is just distributing it now.

I can't imagine this being reissued with a new 4k master on BD but not on UHD. I think just about every "tier 1" catalog that comes out with new 4k master will get released on both formats (excluding Disney, but don't think they're doing many 4k masters anyway).

So, I see this popped up on the 'upcoming' page. Did anyone confirm a UHD disc release? Again, everything official I have seen only points to a 4K theatrical release and a blu-ray. No mention of 4K UHD disc or 4K streaming.

Did I miss something?
