Default Christmas in 4K

Anyone interested in Christmas movies on 4K? I was hoping we would have news of some that could be released this year. There are a few I would love to see:

Home Alone
Home Alone 2

and a Rankin/Bass collection (Rudolph/Frosty and such).

List your favorites and/or any info you may have heard on releases. I hope Christmas movies start trickling in soon.

I thought Home Alone was scanned at 4K already and used on the last Blu-ray release. If true, I wish they would put it out on UHD.

I could see Christmas Vacation, the IP was scanned at 2K for the 25th anniversary BD which looks very nice.

It's not Christmas without A Muppet Christmas Carol and Scrooged.

Looking at past threads, we may not get any (maybe one) of our beloved Christmas movies unless a trend is broken. It looks like most Christmas movie announcements have come out in June or July .

I think Home Alone is definitely inevitable since it got a new 4K scan as mentioned and Fox has been releasing catalog titles. The current remastered BD is good except for the less-than-great encoding.

WHITE CHRISTMAS in VistaVision would look great in 4k/UHD -- hear me Paramount? Also, we had a rumor last year that Warners might be prepping POLAR EXPRESS for 4k. I'd be down for pretty much anything except JINGLE ALL THE WAY.

We already got a Christmas movie announced for 4K and it was even released. That was Die Hard back in may. Perhaps the first Christmas movie to come out on 4K.

Absolutely - Grinch is a great movie (that is, if you're a die hard Jim Carrey fan, as I am ), and a great transfer from Universal, too. Also, let's not forget about Die Hard. Now, I need Home Alone, Gremlins and we're done here!
