Default Waterloo (1970)

Not even out on Blu-Ray, this should go straight to 4K.

Agreed! It's arguably one of the best films ever made covering that period.

I'll second that with all my heart. Great epic film, great production values - definitely deserves a first class treatment, it is one of the best historic movies ever made!

Well it's at last getting a bog standard Blu-ray release in Germany in April, so that's a start. I don't know if it will be region locked or not.

Thanks for the heads-up, preordered it and will report back.

The program content provider Koch Media enjoys a good reputation, they'll perhaps use the master Columbia TriStar used for the DVD version but I don't mind if it's better still.

I have a PAL release. Not sure which country though, I will have to check when I get home.

This upcoming German Blu-ray release has me intrigued.

I can't remember; it's been at least a year since I last watched it. I think it had a dark outer cover.
