However, if we are only talking Steels here, I would say the german I am Legend (already hard to get under €100), german WANTED (Hard to get anywhere due to it being FSK18) or Hancock (just went OOP last week)....

Pinocchio doesnt belong as its not what the OP asked and Wanted is available in the UK so I dont see it as being stellar priced as to most a steelbook is a steelbook

Fair enough. Then the german I am Legend is definately the current big winner and I will agree with you that Hancock will most likely be the next one.

TDK may never be as there are versions from all over the world, Canada, France and Germany plys the 2 pack. It may be years before we see any value in those

That would be weird if it's Hancock, because I hated that movie so much that I could not bring myself to buy that steelbook-LOL!

I AM LEGEND should be disqualified from the list since its been out (OOP) for a while and is already selling way over 100 euros.thats not really going out on a limb by choosing that one.pull out the "crystal ball" and make a real prediction early in the game.OOP STEELBOOKS will obviously go up in value.so picking one is being conservative in your prediction.
i would say that once confirmed,TWILIGHT will sky rocket with its limited release to dvdgo.com.
thats why we need that discount coupon to save on shipping.

plus another thing that helps the value is in Germany alot of times they only have the SB version at first and thats all they ship until its depleted or they offer them for the same price or sometimes cheaper like Hancock(i think it was 19€ in the beginning) That happened on Amazon with IAL, I believe the same with Star Wars, that helps the value as it depletes the supply very fast

just waiting on SATC to boom...lol

That's pretty much what we did

I said that IAL was the "current" biggie and that Hancock would be the next one. What more do you want from my crystal ball?

Maybe the OP should change his question to "Which current release will be the next to go OOP?"

Default King Kong

I think King Kong Bluray steelbook from Argentina may create a lot of interest and eventually prices may soar out of control. But other than that I see most steelbooks under a reasonable price when you compare where they were produced and shipping costs.

Supply and Demand is still at a good ratio for most steelbooks..., ofcourse like me I never really cared about John Rambo or Clone wars steelbooks and now since they in a lot of demand makes me feel that I should own a copy, but that's just me.....
