Question FIFA World Cup Macots

Here are all the World Cup mascots since 1966, most of which are pretty dire I think. But never the less, which are your faves? tell us which you think are the worst even.

3 votes.

Personally my fave has always been the brilliant Pique of Mexico 86.

I like 86 Mexico as well. 1990 looks like a Rubik's Cube Transformer. I like 2010 as well.

I voted for Pique in '86'
It has been my favourite World Cup so that may have influenced my decision.
My least favourite is between Germany and France.

I used to HATE the Italy 90 one but now it actually stands out as quite unique and original, stands out from the crowd of standard cartoon characters.

I don't think much to Spain's silly character or USA's stupid dog or any of the very old ones (accept for England's which has nothing to do with me being a Brit, its actually a neat design for the time). Again was always disappointed with South Korea and Japan's, God knows what they are suppose to be.

The last two for 2010 and this 2014 WC are pretty good I agree, Zakumi is kinda cool actually.

But yeah Pique from 1986 is the best for me and that was the first WC I remember watching as a kid

I like Spain 82, Mexico 86 and Italy 90. The Japan one was terrible and the mascot for the last World Cup and this year's both look like Pokemon characters

I'll pick Willie (England 1966) as it was the first WC I ever saw.

Mine too but I think that's because of nostalgic reasons.

First World Cup I watched.
First time I met a football god and watched an out of this world goal.
First time I was completing (collecting?) a Panini sticker album.
[Show spoiler]

First time I collected Coca-cola inner caps from the WC
[Show spoiler]These:

The summer I got to know video-games and spent the summer playing in Arcades
[Show spoiler]Mainly these two:

So many good memories.

I had the Panini World Cup 86 sticker album and I recall Kinder Eggs having Pique toys in them
