Best player of my time... is Barry Bonds... But Pujols and Arod are pretty close...

Best player of all time Babe Ruth for a hitter.. & Nolan Ryan for pitcher...

Had he stayed a pitcher his entire career Babe Ruth would probably rank among the best pitchers of all-time as well.

Ya, Piazza isn't in the top 5 catchers all-time. Top 10 maybe. And while Pujols has has a terrific career he has not surpassed Lou Gehrig at 1st base. Though there is a good chance he will by the end of his career.

You forgot Willie Mays in your poll. I would say he's the 2nd greatest of all time behind Ruth.

I'd put him #3 after Ruth and Williams. But ya, Mays should be in any top 5 overall players of all-time list and probably in the top 3.

I think Fred McGriff missed the HOF by a mile this year which was his first year of eligibility. Once again proving the HOF voters are idiots. McGriff is EASILY first ballot HOF. He barely missed 500 home runs in an era where he was one of the few clean players.

Roberto Clemente. Unbelievable player, but no doubt the best human being to ever play the game.
