Default Early Season NBA MVP??

Its early but there was a special this week as to who was the NBA MVP so far. There were some good discussions and good candidates brought up. Also some new fresh names brought up also. I listed the top 10 candidates based off who I have heard about the most and also by their numbers and team success. If the guy u want to vote for isnt listed then u vote other and reply with who u went with.

Names listed are in alphabetical order of last name. This poll will be opened for 30 days and then a new one will be created for midseason MVP. Please give reason for your selection. Got Em!!

Dwight Howard for me. He deserves some consideration from his offensive and defensive play and for the magic having such a great record.

U may also call me a homer but I am trying to judge this one unbiasly and I still think Rose is the early MVP. Out of all these guys he has less to work with especially offensively (Boozer just came back) and the way he has carried us not only scoring the basketball but getting others involved. Also his play in the 4th quarter is bananas. Dude is a beast! Its very close though with a couple other players as well. Got Em!!

Other - I'd go with Russell Westbrook based on the season so far. Durant gets the highlihts but Westbrook has somewhat quietly becme a superstar PG. He's averaging 24 pts/5.5 reb/8.5 ast per game. And when Durant went down with an injury and missed several games Westbrook put up incredible numbers.

I would also give it to Dwight Howard. Can anyone imagine that Magic roster being a great team substituting any other center in the league for Dwight?

Yo. Manu does everything in a close game. Not just score and he doesn't get credit for it. And when it's crunch time, just don't piss him off.

Ginobuli is a very good player but MVP?? His numbers arent big enough to even be considered for an MVP. And that team is good every year and always does about the same so I dont think he would even make top 5. Got Em!!
