The first zombieland was the surprise of the year for me.Loved it to death The cameo was the best ever if you ask me.Let's pray for a similar cameo in the second instalment, but let's also pray that it will be better than the sequel to analyse this.Analyse that was just godawful

PS: Don't ask me why I dragged in analyse this movies.Just an example of how not to do a sequel.

When i was a boy, my great grand pappy gave me some good advise. He said, "Son, never make a sequel to a hit cult movie cause the great thing about them is how different they r and the thing about sequels is they arent." He also recommended I invest in plastics.

Meh I like a lot of sequels and I didn't get to see the original in theatres so I hope this one gets made.

A good/better than sequel is rare, sure. But just because it is a sequel - doesn't mean it should be labeled as "worse".

Either way - what would they do with the young girl - I'm sure she would be much older now. Would they really have a gap of "years" built in to the story?

Either way - Zombieland was definitely one of my favorite zombie movies. Pure fun.

It's not really a big deal to me if they do a sequel. It's not really needed. I loved the first one and wouldn't be against a sequel of course, but the only way it would work is if everyone came back.

The first one was cute, but it felt a little too safe for me. They should improve on that and turn up the threat a little higher. Oh, and if they do include another cameo, it would be great if it's
[Show spoiler]Russell Crowe
.

Well I think it's a good idea that can be branched out and extended So I'm always open to a sequel, I just hope it involves more Zombies, something the original lacked in the middle

If Zombieland 2 isn't happening, no one told Rhett Reese.

I really like the 1st one alot, I am in love with zombie movies as you can see in my gallery. I was pissed though when they killed Bill Murray I really liked him alot in zombie land he was my favorite character. I think they should have kept him alive and had him roll up in an suv and save the day in a blazing glory at the end in the amusement park. If they did it like that I would have stood up and applauded. I think they should have had more people than just the main characters also.

That pic alone just finally got me to get off the fence and order "Easy A". I've seen it; but couldn't decide if I wanted it in the collection. That pic reassured me that I do!

I never laughed out loud while watching this, but this was the funniest part of the movie.

They better choose the cameo well because Bill Murray is the one who carried this movie above average.

Jesse Eisenberg Gives An Update On The Zombieland Sequel

It's been awhile since we've heard anything new on the status of Zombieland 2. The first movie was refreshing and funny which is hard to do when there is such a glut of zombie movies to choose from, but this one certainly stood out.

Is it true that youíre making a sequel to Zombieland?

Quote:
No. Theyíre writing the script right now but I havenít seen it and I suspect that the longer we wait, the less relevant it will be. I mean, all the actors would love to do it and the director would love to do it but Iím not sure whatís happening
.
This seems to be less and less of a certainty every time there is an update. Really hope we see it eventually.
